Education Verification – Overview
Verify that applicants to your education program belong to a recognised educational institution. The same Goodstack API powers both student verification (typically higher education) and teacher verification (typically K–12, with some higher education).
If you have an existing nonprofit discount program, the Education verification flow will feel familiar – it uses the same Validation Submission API as our Cause verification flow, configured for educational institutions.
You can have full control over the applicant sign-up flow with the API setup.

Education verification checks

Each Education verification submission runs three checks: a Validation Request to confirm the institution is legitimate, an Eligibility Check to determine the institution type (university, college, K–12, etc.), and an Agent Verification to confirm the applicant is actually associated with the institution.
